GPIB Interface (for SC-7205A) SC-701

The universal counters SC-7207H, SC-7206H, SC-7205H, and SC-7205A have a built-in SC-701 (SC-7207H, SC-7206H are standard equipment), which enables remote setting and external transmission of measurement result data related to measurement reset, measurement function, time base, calculation, etc. by an external GP-IB controller.

  • Electrical and mechanical specifications are in accordance with IEEE 488.1.
  • It has the following interface functions for GPIB.
    SH1, AH1, T5, L4, SR1, RL1, PP0, DC1, DT1, C0
  • It has a REMOTE/LOCAL status LED indicator.
  • The remote item
    is fully remote
    (except for some functions such as on/off of the power switch and remote related settings.)

Address settings

The following settings are possible through the SYSTEM menu of UTILITY.

  • The 31 types of device addresses from 0 to 30 can be selected at will.
  • One of CR+LF or LF can be selected as the delimiter.

Digital I/O (for SC-7207H, SC-7206H, SC-7205H, SC-7205A) SC-702

By integrating the SC-702 (digital I/O), the universal counter SC-7205A can control the start of measurement and output the comparator operation result (open collector). By connecting lamps, etc. to the exterior, you can easily visualize parts sorting and inspection results.

By adopting a cross cable and using the RS connector as a female connector, it is possible to directly connect the USB port and the measurement equipment. You can use an external controller (usually using a PC) to perform the same operations as when you manually control using button operation on the main unit. Not only operations, but also measurement result data collection is possible (interface specifications are the same as the standard RS-232).
